Buongiorno from Trentino!
Last week, we took part in one of the most important events of the year for the European innovation and entrepreneurship community: the EBN Congress 2026, held in the Italian towns of Rovereto and Riva del Garda, in the Trentino region.
This year’s congress was hosted by Trentino Sviluppo S.p.A., the Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) representing the EBN – European Business & Innovation Centre Network. During these days, we had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the region’s innovation ecosystem, discover leading entrepreneurial initiatives, and share experiences on the challenges and opportunities facing entrepreneurship ecosystems across Europe.
The congress also provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with our colleagues from the EBN network and the Spanish Association of European Business and Innovation Centres (ANCES). This year, we shared the experience with our colleagues from BIC Gipuzkoa and BIC Ezkerraldea, highlighting the collaborative work we carry out to foster innovative entrepreneurship.
We return from Trentino with new ideas, learnings and connections that we will continue to bring into our daily work to support the growth of startups and innovative projects in our region.
