Up to €15 million

Objective

The EIC Accelerator (formerly known as SME Instrument) aims to encourage companies to take their technological innovations to market and scale them. For this program, they are looking for high-risk projects based on an innovative value proposition with high technological content and a committed team.

Amount

Non-repayable grants (from €0.5 million to €2.5 million in the form of a 70% grant) for projects in TRL6-TRL8 phases.
Inversión: acceso al capital riesgo por valor de hasta 15M€ (25%) para cualquier TRL.

Eligible expenses

Grant portion: Eligible expenses incurred for innovation activities, including demonstration of the technology in the relevant environment, prototyping and system-level demonstration, R&D and testing necessary to meet regulatory and standards requirements, intellectual property management and marketing (At least TRL 5/6 to 8).
Investment part: Intended to finance market deployment and scale-up, but can also be used for other purposes (including co-financing or even full financing of innovation activities).

Application deadline

STEP 1- Submit a short proposal (5 pages) through a guided process on the IA platform. A pitch deck and a 3-minute video must also be attached. Open all year round. 4 remote evaluators, to move to STEP 2, at least 2 evaluators must give the GO. (*)
PASO 2 –Desarrollo propuesta completa en la plataforma IA. Abierto todo el año.
PASO 3 -Envío y evaluación propuesta completa. 3 evaluators, to move to STEP 4, all 3 evaluators must give the GO. (*)
PASO 4 – Entrevista. Mayo, Septiembre y Noviembre/Diciembre

(*) Solo se permiten 2 presentaciones en cada paso del proceso de solicitud. After one year of waiting it will be possible to reapply.
