Euskadi Showcases Its Innovation and Technology at Mobile World Congress 2025

Euskadi has positioned itself as a technological and innovative country at Mobile World Congress 2025, the global epicenter of technology and connectivity, held in Barcelona from March 3rd to 6th. The Euskadi – Basque Country stand, located in the Four Years From Now (4YFN) 2025 startup ecosystem area, is organized under the slogan “Innovation Land”, showcasing the technological capabilities of 16 Basque startups.

Euskadi’s participation is promoted by the Basque Government through Grupo Spri Business Development Agency and the Provincial Councils, with the aim of highlighting its innovative, technological, and entrepreneurial ecosystem, presenting disruptive solutions in sectors such as Clean Energy & Sustainability, Health Tech, Sportstech, and Intelligent Industry, among others.

Institutional Delegation Representing Euskadi

The Euskadi delegation is led by Jaione Ganzarain, Deputy Minister of Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation of the Basque Government, accompanied by:

• Ainara Basurko, Deputy for Economic Promotion of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia
• Ane Insausti, Deputy for Economic Promotion and Strategic Projects of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa
• Ander Larrinaga, Director of Economic Development and Innovation of the Provincial Council of Álava

16 Basque Startups Showcase Their Solutions at 4YFN 2025

Within the Euskadi – Basque Country stand, 16 startups from Gipuzkoa, Álava, and Bizkaia are showcasing their innovative solutions in key sectors such as energy, healthcare, education, and industry.

Among the Álava-based startups, these stand out:

🔹 Psifiacos: A startup developing software for the detection and monitoring of individuals with eating disorders.
🔹 Novaut: An industrial marketplace specialized in components and spare parts, created by an emerging Álava-based company.
🔹 Naiz Band: A startup that has developed a social network for athletes.
🔹 Amazinglers: A platform designed to help young talent enter the job market.
🔹 Seaquenz: Focused on developing electrical products for the aviation and wind energy sectors.
🔹 Kimaiwi Digital Innovations: A company specializing in online solutions for the tourism sector.

In addition to being present at the Euskadi stand, several of these startups have also taken the stage to pitch their projects before a large audience, aiming to create new synergies, attract investment, and expand their network of contacts.
