BIC Araba Launches the 3rd Edition of the Workshop to Boost Investment in Startups
Investing in startups and entrepreneurial projects has become an increasingly attractive option for those seeking new opportunities in the world of investment. However, factors such as disruptive technologies, taxation, the complexities of negotiation, and risk can raise doubts when taking the plunge.
To address these concerns, provide key tools, and introduce methodologies, BIC Araba has organized an investment workshop designed for anyone interested, regardless of their previous experience in this sector.
The 3rd edition of the workshop will be held over three sessions (February 27 and 28, and March 13). During these sessions, experts with extensive experience in advising startups and investments will explore essential topics, such as relationships with entrepreneurs, opportunity analysis, negotiating partnership agreements, and monitoring profitability.
The final session, on March 13, will conclude with an investment forum where real projects will be presented, offering participants the chance to dive deeper into specific cases and explore potential investment opportunities.
BIC Araba, a public entity supported by the Basque Government through SPRI, the Provincial Council of Álava, and the City Council of Vitoria-Gasteiz, has been supporting the creation and consolidation of technology-based business initiatives for more than three decades. It emphasizes the importance of exploring alternatives to traditional investment. “This is about supporting our future business fabric, and given the current economic situation, investing in a startup can be an interesting option,” said David Montero, Director of BIC Araba.
Through practical cases, interactive sessions, and insights from renowned analysts, investors, and entrepreneurs, this course offers the methodologies and strategies needed to invest confidently and successfully in the world of startups.
